This course presents key information on the enabling role that leadership and workplace culture plays when implementing changes to improve the asset management capability of an organisation.

    This Leadership and Culture Course 101 has three key objectives: 1. To help you understand the value of an appropriate leadership style and workplace culture; 2. To help you understand that from time to time you may need to change your organisations leadership style; and 3. To help you appreciate the steps that go into changing that leadership style.

    Before you can create a good and effective culture you first need to have a good understanding of what the role of asset management has within and organisation.

    Knowing the value and worth of Asset Management is important when being a leader in your organisation and creating a good workplace culture. Effective Asset Management requires people in the organisation to be supported by documented processes and procedures, and then to feel empowered to make the decisions that need to be made, and take action when necessary.
